Baseball Registration

QALL offers a number of divisions to accommodate all ages and skill levels. Players may be asked to attend a skill evaluation to ensure placement in the proper division. We strongly encourage each player to have a minimum of one year experience in each division before moving to the next division.
Your player may be eligible for more than one division. After registration, your player can be moved to the appropriate division if needed.

NOTE: A medical release form is required for your player to complete the registration process. Please download the form <HERE> , complete it, and uploaded when requested.

Tee Ball (league ages 4–6) – Designed for our youngest players, this division introduces the basics of baseball in a fun and supportive environment. Players hit from a tee and begin learning the fundamentals of throwing, catching, and base running. Teams typically meet once or twice a week for practices and games. Season begins in April.

Single A (league ages 6–8) – This division builds on Tee Ball experience and introduces a machine pitch format similar to Rapid Baseball. This new structure increases the amount of repetitions for players and keeps the pace of the game going. The focus remains on skill development and learning the rules of the game in a structured but low-pressure setting. Teams usually meet twice per week.

AA (league ages 7–9) – Players begin to experience more competitive play, including limited player pitching. This division bridges the gap between machine pitch and full player pitch, emphasizing continued skill development and game awareness. Teams typically meet twice per week. Player Evaluations will be February 1st, 2026.

AAA (league ages 9–11) – AAA is a fully competitive division where players pitch the entire game. Games follow official Little League Baseball rules, and teams participate in city-wide competition and playoffs. Players who are at least league age 9 are eligible for All-Star selection season which occurs June thru mid July. Teams meet two to three times per week. Player Evaluations will be February 1st, 2026.

Majors (league ages 10–12) – This division features a higher level of competition and skill. Games are played under full Little League Baseball rules. All players are eligible for All-Star selection, with the opportunity to compete toward the Little League World Series. Skill evaluations are required. Teams typically meet three times per week. Player Evaluations will be February 1st, 2026.

Teenball (league ages 13–16) – Designed for older players, this division features competitive games that may include weekend doubleheaders and inter-league play with travel to away games. Players are eligible for All-Star selection and may compete for Intermediates (13) Junior (14) or Senior League World Series. Teams typically meet two-three times per week.
Please consider volunteering to help make this the best experience possible for our kids. Each team benefits from roles such as manager, coach, team coordinator, scorekeeper, and umpires.

Until mid April, SENIORS Baseball is available for those to register depending on their desire given their High School outcomes. Play with other League age 15 and older in D8 and enjoy your final Little League years in a Sandlot style baseball division.

If you feel your player should be considered for a different division than what is specified above, please send an inquiry to [email protected]

2026 Challenger Division

Challenger Division Registration

The Challenger Division of Little League is a program for developmentally and physically challenged youth, helping them to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.

Playing with the same equipment on the same fields, Challenger Division participants have the opportunity to experience the joys of pulling together as a team, being cheered, and earning awards for their achievements. Today more than 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide.

Teams are set-up by age and can include as many as 10-15 players. Challenger games can be played as t-ball games, coach pitch, player pitch, or a combination of the three.

In a Challenger game, each player gets a chance at bat. The side is retired when the offense has batted through the roster, or when a pre-determined number of runs have been scored, or when three outs are recorded. Little League recommends that no score be kept during Challenger games. The Challenger players wear the same uniforms, shoulder patches and safety equipment as other Little League players.

Who qualifies for the Challenger program? The Challenger Division offers boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges, ages 4 to adult, the opportunity to participate in an organized game of baseball. The most fundamental goal of the Challenger Division is to give everyone a chance to play.

Once registered, scheduling and team assignments will be handled by Washington Little League District 8 and their staff. The season will run roughly mid-April through mid-June.
