MHT Insurance bests Blue Highway Games

(May 2) With both teams scoreless, a one run double walloped by Nathan Lewis had MHT making its move at the top of the fourth inning. Teammate Dmitry Milam’s RBI upped the ante, but Blue Highway’s Will Stroupe bankrupted the offensive by snagging a fly ball and tagging first base to turn a double play. At the bottom of the frame, MHT was denied a monopoly on the match as Stroupe pegged a two run double-bagger to deep centerfield, knotting up the score. Yet at the top of the fifth, Elena Milam’s double had the visitors pass “go” for one more run, and at the bottom of the frame, MHT’s Christian Collins turned an unassisted double play at first base to thwart Blue Highway from advancing any runners.
