Napolitano Day Spa exfoliates MHT Insurance

(April 25) Napolitano’s Chance Littleboy was the go-to guy in the first frame of this match up, swatting a one run single to maneuver the home team into an early lead. MHT’s pitcher Christian Collins flashed some leather as he snatched a fly ball to help shut down the offensive, and teammate Zach Boone’s single-bagger at the top of the third knotted up the score. Napolitano bats were rejuvenated again in the bottom of the third: a one run single by Eddie Reyes, and a two run sacrifice single styled by Ben Reed saw the home team pull ahead. At the bottom of the fifth, MHT’s defense showed its grit – pitcher Vincent Duyungan worked in tandem with first baseman Ike Everard for two put outs (one of which achieved as Duyungan dove around the pitching machine to come up with the ball). Yet one run singles by Noah Shapiro and Sam Hoyt, and a double massaged into the gap by Littleboy padded Napolitano’s lead. Taking the field at the top of the sixth, Napolitano’s defense played as tight as a botoxed brow: First baseman Augie Bartlett turned an unassisted double play and aided in a put out at first for 1-2-3 conclusion to the game.
