(April 18) Despite a game punctuated by plummeting temperatures, hail and driving rain, MHT’s Jeremy Levy sizzled as he snagged two pop ups in the first inning to quiet the QA Books offense. In the second inning, QA Green Sox bats once again came alive and a sacrifice RBI rapped by Svend Phillips brought one in over the dish for the visitors. MHT was unable to answer, and was once again in the field at the top of the third when Zach Boone’s running catch of a pop up to shallow right shelved the visitor hopes for insurance runs. However, due to frozen fingers and thunderclaps, this AA match up was called to a hasty close at the bottom of the third inning.
