QALL Announces 2010 Summer Sandlot Baseball Camp

Mark Linden of Baseball Positive Leads the Camp 

 August 16-20

 

 

CAMP FORMAT

Each day begins with drills to develop throwing, catching and batting skills.  The final 2 ½ hours are Game Play with each age group divided into two teams.  The games follow a fast paced format with the instructors pitching easy to hit strikes from a short distance.  Most every pitch is put into play, which keeps the defense constantly active while the batting line-up turns over quickly.

 

There are brief breaks in the games where fielding skills and team-play are taught.  Over the course of the week the participants learn comprehensive batting, throwing and fielding mechanics as well as coordinated team play.  The kids learn and develop through their PLAY.

 

Each team has their own Instructor/Coach. Mark Linden, Director of Baseball Positive, who has worked with the leagues players and coaches the past few years, leads all the instructional periods and roams the park during the games providing additional individual and team instruction based on game activity.

Open to players ages 6-12; age as of April 30, 2010

 

ENROLLMENT LIMITED to ensure the best possible experience

10-12 yrs:   22 players

8 - 9 yrs:     22 players

6 - 7 yrs:     12 players
